Anyone ever have an NDE?

You often hear stories of life changing transformation for the better, following one. Though I'd imagine plenty of people also have nde's and stay where there at.

Anyways, it'd be interesting to consider how you can potentially engineer a Near Death Experience that at least has potential for positive transformation.

I've had so many near death experiences and I've never thought to myself, "Life got better"

Not really, afterall it'd better if I can just straight up dead rather than nearly dead.

Most cases I heard about were folks who didn't want to CTB in the first place so I doubt that it would've changed the mindset of the ones who wanted to...
That or it's some survivorship bias type of thing

I had a near death experience like a month ago. It felt peaceful and I savoured that moment. It was cool for like an hour or so, didn't do anything for me the days after.

Maybe it also makes a difference whether we're talking about a someone who 'Clinically' died and revived vs. just a close call.

There have been plenty of people who have near-death experiences where everything is inky black and they are at peace. Those people wake up angry that they had to come back and face life. As mentioned above, there is indeed a bias towards the feel-good outcomes where someone has an experience and decides to live because that plays well in the media and gets people to click on links.

So far as we know, there is no explanation for why certain people have near-death experiences and what they might see, although it is somewhat tied to religious beliefs. Therefore, there is no way to force your brain to show you a particular thing. Unfortunately, there is no answer to your question.

My near death experience honestly made me crave being dead even more. That's a type of peace I don't think is even possible to feel in this physical life

I feel like most of the nde happens to people who aren't suicidal. So after nde they realize they been taking life for granted and start living life to the fullest etc. If nde happens to me it would piss me of cause what you mean I get so close to peace just to still be alive at the end

You can also be traumatized from a near death experience. That has the potential to fuck your life up for a while

It didn't fix me. Got into a bad car accident (not my fault), but the moment before the impact I felt so calm that I was about to die. Don't really feel any different after recovery, not even scared of driving or anything.

It brings me peace but at the same time trauma and open my mind to an endless sadness because when i was almost gone i think "why life put on me a burden like that". Since this moment i feel an injustice so deep in my mind. It leads me to see life as a nonsens.

Perhaps not the sort of scenario you're looking for, but I tried to kill myself last year by decapitating myself under a train just before backing out.

This was obviously my choice and I suppose you can debate whether it was 'near death', but I absolutely did get that 'oh my god, I'm about to die' sensation.

It didn't necessarily put me off of the idea of suicide, it just made me understand more what I have to do to accept death and also my chosen method. I remember feeling really empowered, though disappointed. Like next time I knew I could do it.

Anyone have a 'clinical' death followed by a revival?
