I contacted about 10 suppliers to source SN from MIC.
However, the results were disappointing.
I explained that I am an individual consumer and wanted to purchase a small quantity, around 300g to 500g.
But most suppliers turned me down, saying they only sell in bulk.
One supplier asked what I intended to use it for,
and I replied that I wanted to buy it to make sausages and ham with my family.
However, this supplier also turned me down, saying their product wasn't intended for that purpose.
It feels like the suppliers know that the purpose of individual small-quantity purchases is to obtain a CTB ticket, so they're using formal excuses to block inquiries at the source.
I'm curious how those who successfully purchased SN from MIC managed to do so.
Perhaps I was too late and missed the window of opportunity.
It seems impossible to even come close to my original plan of negotiating with a supplier to secretly clear customs for a small quantity of SNs that were mislabeled.
I thought SN was my last hope, so this is truly devastating...

Say them you need it for corrosion inhibator, tell them you dont want to reveal your personal identity and will test small amount in laboratory setting
Thanks for your reply.
I'll respond this way to any companies that ask about the intended use in the future.

No need for that just find someone who is willing to send sample lets say 200-500 grams, make a quotation for that and let suppliers contact you. They think maybe you are a private buyer working for big company. Also if they ask about bussiness cards just persist and say no. The best way is pay by paypal where you can track your order

I'm worried that there might be a problem if I include "Mislabeled" as a condition in the request for quotation that will be made public.

I just never told them that I'm an individual consumer but they probably know that I am one.

They did eventually ask for a company name and I gave them the name of a company I started a few years ago. But I dissolved it last year so fingers crossed that they don't look it up in the companies house register. I don't think they do

I managed to buy some (only arrived a few days ago) mid June. Told him I wanted a sample so I could make my own ratio curing salts (food grade SN >98% purity). He quickly swapped to whatsapp, I asked him for customs clearance DDP with a fake company name and mislabeling. It took ages to communicate and for it to arrive but I managed to get 500g this way for about $250.
