increased massively as a result of the various lockdown restrictions around the world.
OP should bear in mind that the kinds of shipping that may have decreased during Covid are
larger shipments of non-essential items such as those in trucks and shipping containers etc. These are processed in
different channels than normal parcels are anyway, so would probably have not have any effect on each other.
Most postal services (and customs services) are probably slowed down by staff absence and staff number restrictions due to the social distancing requirements. So if anything, there could even be less
routine inspection of parcels done currently in order to keep things running as close to normal speed as possible. Just a guess though.
