Over the past year, increased regulatory pressure in multiple regions like UK OFCOM and Australia's eSafety has led to higher operational costs, including infrastructure, security, and the need to work with more specialized service providers to keep the site online and stable.

How much is a gas cylinder of inert gas in the US? 20 cf can correct? Which should hold 600 L. Is it suspicious to buy a regulator from them as well? I would think a supplier would have those on hand with the correct thread fitting.

Should I be weary of them asking why I need it?

Just want to make sure I have all the info I need ironed out before I start making calls and checking places.

Suggests of places to buy gas cylinders in US. I'm in the South. DM if you aren't comfortable posting. Thank you for your time.

Any gas supply store . Amazon . Google and a bunch of vendors will come up .
Best thing to say is your just buying it for your dad or bf/ gf or whatever and not sure why he's using it .

20 cf prob under 100$

The regulator you can't usually get at gs supply you'll have to do online or some big box stores like harbor freight / Home Depot

From my experience, no one asked anything based on their suspicions. If anything, they might inquire in order to sell you the appropriate items for whatever task. To them these items are used for tasks such as welding, medical, etc. So their questions about finding out so they can sell you things. So I wouldnt worry about them being suspicious.

I'd say if you are using the hood method, 40 cf or more might be best to use.

Regulators can be found at Harbot Freight & even at Amazon. I got several from the former, all reasonable priced.

Do you bring your empty tank to that major gas chain and they fill it?

Just called a gas supply store in the midwest part of the US. I told them that my brother's birthday was coming up and he had a list of beer/brewing supplies that he wanted. I don't know if food grade tank/gas is required/recommended but that is what I got pricing for. Just under $300 for 40 cf tank filled with nitrogen. I asked about regulators while on the phone, too. Said that I'd have to talk to my brother to get specifics for what he needed, but wondering if they have them. They didn't have any nitrogen regulators in stock, but could order them quickly. I think I'll go elsewhere for a regulator because I really want to try to find something like the Mad Dog one from the PPeH if possible.

$300 for the gas and tank or just filling up an empty tank?

It works the same as propane tanks for your grill. When you have a tank, it is much less expensive to swap your empty tank for a full tank.
Swapping for existing tank is about $60. New full tank is just under $300.
