If I try to explain that the prefrontal cortex isn't fully mature until a certain age and that this influences decision-making (not that it will necessarily change your choices for better or worse in the future), will people think I'm being "pro-life" in a post?
unfortunately, a part of them would consider you pro-life even if that's literally science, 'people suffer at any age and sometimes it's their (supposed) last option, time won't change anything'. It's like that thread U. A. showed earlier today, about how it's pro-life and not pro-choice to say to people 'but try this first' or 'just wait another month', like it's just trying to keep people alive in their suffering
wtf that's something people actually say?
i'd never even suggest suicide to anyone below the age of 25.
let your brain fully develop first, you aren't capable of making such extreme decisions yet.
depressing fact...
unfortunately yeah, people are so pessimistic, anti-natalistic and nihilistic that they think if someone think suicide is their option, they should kill themselves, even the children
