Haha, it's from an artist I really liked growing up, but sadly I don't remember their name. I just have some of their art saved

Whew, it's especially embarrassing when you have to edit your first post of the day in this thread because you can't get the number right!

So this is awkward conversation, but I'm genuinely curious….have you had top surgery yet?

no, and I don't need it, HRT has given big enough boobs for me

463
That's cool. Has your sister had or want any surgery herself? I forget if she's younger or older?
(feel free to ask me to shut up at any time. It's amazing what I can think about in the mornings)

she is older than me, she might go with the same surgery as me (or maybe just an orchiectomy) to get rid of testosterone production entirely.

That's great for her that she lives in the same house and can see how it goes for you first.
Yeah, I had to Google it yesterday. Ashamed to say I was not smart enough to realize testosterone still comes from there. I thought all the HRT stuff took care of that.

well HRT can heavily suppress and lessen testosterone but it won't fully get rid of it. HRT is done first as its more reversible than a surgery as well when I get that I am never ever getting my natural testosterone back (but thats what I want anyways)

And yet you're still so young. Are there any age restrictions there for when you can get the surgery?

only age restriction is to be over 18 for it. Other restrictions do include is to be on HRT for over a year (I have been on HRT for over 3 years now.) Personally I don't see any reason not to do this surgery as the body I have gotten from HRT is much more comfortable to be in than before and this is just going to make that a permanent thing plus not having to deal with dysphoria down there too and not having to pay or use puberty blockers anymore.

Umm well there is the slight matter of pain and discomfort. I know that is short-lived compared to the positive results, but I still think you're brave

456
true about whatever pain I will experience from it. I wouldn't really call myself brave and more just ignorant of physical pain but whatever pain this will have will be worth the results
