definitely not. i think remasters are good for older games that have been off the market for a while (thinking of the transformers games... naturally). but otherwise, literally what is the purpose???377 am I weird for not caring about sequels or remakes? I don't see much point in them (with the exception of actually innovative sequels) as one of the biggest problems I have with life is repetition so I would rather developers make more unique games.
377 definitely remasters are a good idea like how we have changed from vhs tapes to dvds for films so that newer audiences can enjoy the media with better quality but if you have the original what's the point in wasting time making derivative content and games? Am i just too broken and depressed for not being able to enjoy samey things?378

it's not just you! i feel the same way. and i think most people do; look on social media if you have it and you'll see a lot of people exhausted with companies nostalgia pandering and constant remakes/sequels. it's as if companies have all simultaneously lost their inspiration for anything, which. how.377 definitely remasters are a good idea like how we have changed from vhs tapes to dvds for films so that newer audiences can enjoy the media with better quality but if you have the original what's the point in wasting time making derivative content and games? nintendo don't dmca a rom site owned by a 60 year old married couple dedicated to preserving their precambrian era games challenge (instant fail)if we're talking about nintendo then i'd like to add my two cents and say they should stop DMCA-ing harmless fangames.
that's good to hear that it isn't just me being depressed. I don't look at much social media except here really lol378

i've stopped looking at social media a lot myself... i'm mostly there for art and memesthat's good to hear that it isn't just me being depressed. I don't look at much social media except here really lol
nintendo and most other rich humans harming everyone else. honestly I really worry I am going to turn into that if my game becomes successful as that seems like a trap a lot of people fall into and I feel like I am made of some of the ingredients to turn into that sort of person if I got more power.379

if that's a concern, that seems like proof that you won't. to be honest, power doesn't corrupt; it revealsnintendo and most other rich humans harming everyone else. honestly I really worry I am going to turn into that if my game becomes successful as that seems like a trap a lot of people fall into and I feel like I am made of some of the ingredients to turn into that sort of person if I got more power.
From what I've seen a lot of indie devs tend to be a lot more humble than companies, and you also seem like that type of person to me.nintendo and most other rich humans harming everyone else. honestly I really worry I am going to turn into that if my game becomes successful as that seems like a trap a lot of people fall into and I feel like I am made of some of the ingredients to turn into that sort of person if I got more power.

thats good to hear that I won't suddenly turn into a worse person than what I am already just cause I got more success. I feel like I need to continue to hate myself and have low self worth as I don't want to seem egotistical380
