From what I've read, welfare checks won't happen unless if the seller were to get arrested but I'm so paranoid because I only have one chance to get this right which means that all of my nerves are shot up

Of course not. My parents would take it and immediately throw it away if I were to do that. I managed to buy a PO box and get it sent to there instead but I should give an important warning for anybody going through with this. Buying a PO box with royal mail will cause them to send them a letter to your home confirming your PO box despite their customer services saying that they would just send you an email only so be careful!! I just managed to get so lucky because my mum was busy when the post came so she told my younger brother to get the post instead. When my brother went to get the post, I collected mine from him and hid it from my mum whilst I got lucky enough for there to be another post for my dad meaning that I managed to get away. I'm so pissed at royal mail for outright lying with their customer services but I'm so glad that I didn't get caught

Honestly, all of my nerves came from the idea of my parents catching me out. As soon as I got that royal mail letter, all of my nerves went away and, for the first time in my life, I feel so powerful. I'm so glad to that one SS member warning everybody about the royal mail thing as I would have been screwed if it wasn't for that
