Well, I'm passionate about football, and even though I wasn't born in that era, the Dutch school of football in the 70s was revolutionary and influenced the playing style of great teams later on, so I know a good portion of the players from that national team, which also sparked my interest in learning about the culture and lifestyle.

It's interesting, once again, that someone from such a large country on the other side of the world takes an interest in our tiny little country. I've never encountered that before. The 'big' question: from what you've learned about our culture and lifestyle, do you like it, and does it differ much from yours?

I used to be a more active cyclist and I was always bothered by the way big cities deal with transportation, imposing preferences for individualistic and unhealthy means, unlike the Netherlands where the bicycle is more than just leisure, but a way for people to get from one place to another.
I admire how the fight against major floods has shaped architecture. I am critical of religions in general, and I have the impression that most of its people are heading towards a more secular path, which implies responsibility for their own choices. There are many other things, too, I may be right or wrong in some impressions.

Yes, the Netherlands has literally built land from the sea. About one-third of the country lies below sea level, and large areas were reclaimed from the sea and lakes over centuries. You're right, bicycles are generally our go-to way of getting around for short distances or in larger cities. We have the most kilometers of bike paths in the world. You're right, bicycles are generally our go-to way of getting around for short distances or in larger cities. In fact, we have the most kilometers of bike paths in the world. We are very liberal, there is a lot of room for different beliefs, but the majority are non-believers. And, yes... we mostly live in peace with each other.

So I'm certain about the things that stand out most from my worldview. We also have things to admire, even though I'm critical of some situations that we allow ourselves to be subjected to.

Yes, Brasil is a wonderful country, and known for there friendliness and generosity. Also a large range of diversity (cultures, ethnicities, and traditions).
