Have you tried putting on the hood and breathing out? The air escapes through minor gaps, doesn't it?But how to exhale the oxygen.. there is no outlet for that or does it need to go out underneath?
I mean, overpressure would make the gas flow in through the valve or whatever, and out through the gaps near the neck. I see no problem with its effectiveness. Cmiiw.Yes well nog gap in neck area.. does not fit tight..now it's like exit bag but very expensive one..
Idk, there's the danger of permanent brain damage, so yeah, I'd research further. But wouldn't there be to much oxygen in the hood, this way it's like an exit bag and lots of failures with that

If oxygen would cause brain damage that would explain a lot of posts on social media. But wouldn't there be to much oxygen in the hood, this way it's like an exit bag and lots of failures with that
Can you explain further? Will my method work, it's just like exit bag..If oxygen would cause brain damage that would explain a lot of posts on social media.
The exhalation valve is there to purge CO2 from the hood. CO2 is the end product if air is consumed by your body and it's exhaled through your mouth. Can you explain further? Will my method work, it's just like exit bag..
Do you know a good hood that indeed has exhalation valve? The exhalation valve is there to purge CO2 from the hood. CO2 is the end product if air is consumed by your body and it's exhaled through your mouth.
If the exhalation valve on your Hood does not work don't attempt to ctb. Get a replacement from the vendor!
The one you posted has one, It might just not work.Do you know a good hood that indeed has exhalation valve?
It's new..The one you posted has one, It might just not work.
I'm going to add in my thoughts on this whole setup. Yes there will be oxygen in that hood when you put it on. So you will be mixing oxygen with nitrogen and breathing that in. You will also be exhaling carbon dioxide. I don't logically see how you can escape risking brain damage with this setup. It's new..
Do you know another hood with rectus male connection? 95KSIW13BPN
But exit bags do work right?I'm going to add in my thoughts on this whole setup. Yes there will be oxygen in that hood when you put it on. If that hood was used to provide oxygen in an environment where there is smoke it might work for that, assuming you could exhale and somehow the carbon dioxide in your exhalation would escape but for your purpose, you need to not try to use that hood.
Just having a high nitrogen content mixed in with oxygen will give brain damage. In my studied opinion the nitrogen method should never be used. Much too risky and hard to pull off.
Please show on Google where someone used an EEBD Hood to CTB with with Nitrogen and it failed--Greenberg challenged anybody to find just one example, and nobody could--Likewise, with GasMonkey--Please read Greenberg's posts pages 40 to 70 on the Inert Gas Mega Thread to get properly educated on this subject, and spare us 'your thoughts', you obviously know very little about Nitrogen and the EEBD Hood to make such an ignorant statement like 'the Nitrogen Method should never be used'I'm going to add in my thoughts on this whole setup. But also we can not find succeeded attempts .. that's the thing.. and my drager hood is no good .. and need to ctb fast..Please show on Google where someone used an EEBD Hood to CTB with with Nitrogen and it failed--Greenberg challenged anybody to find just one example, and nobody could--Likewise, with GasMonkey--Please read Greenberg's posts pages 40 to 70 on the Inert Gas Mega Thread to get properly educated on this subject, and spare us 'your thoughts', you obviously know very little about Nitrogen and the EEBD Hood to make such an ignorant statement like 'the Nitrogen Method should never be used'
