Help Borderline favorite person

I saw some people talking about this the other day and I wonder if it's why I can't leave my friend and feel the need to tell him everything. Can someone tell me something about this?

Don't have enough details to be 100%, but it may be limerence. It's basically when you become addicted to a person, doesn't have to be sexual.

Ik when I had it really bad I felt like the person was the physical embodiment of everything I needed.

I get this and it's devastating. Literally crying about it right now. Nobody will tell me though that the love I feel for them isn't real (Had people say this to me before).

This is the first I've ever heard of this so I did some reading up on it. You be experienced this in my life a couple of very notable times. It has me wondering more about BPD and if it may be a suitable diagnosis for me.

I'm not sure if this is what you mean, but I'm a BPD"er to. In loving or liking people ( doesn't have to be romantically) I'm either black or white. Or I love you to pieces or you could drop dead for all I care.
Slowly I'm discovering a grey area, but that's very difficult for me.

I've heard the same story from other people who are diagnosed with this lovely disease. .

The more I hear/read about BDP the more I'm scared I have it. My ex was my favourite person and it was the woorst. I've done this time and time again in my life. It all makes sense now. Scary.
