• Hey Guest,

We wanted to share a quick update with the community.

Our public expense ledger is now live, allowing anyone to see how donations are used to support the ongoing operation of the site.

Over the past year, increased regulatory pressure in multiple regions like UK OFCOM and Australia's eSafety has led to higher operational costs, including infrastructure, security, and the need to work with more specialized service providers to keep the site online and stable.

If you value the community and would like to help support its continued operation, donations are greatly appreciated. If you wish to donate via Bank Transfer or other options, please open a ticket.

I know that one of the things for successful ctb is to plan every detail. But isn't it also possible to be successful in doing so without planning everything completely?

It has already been discussed about all the people who have done it by improvising successfully. It's not that I don't have anything ready, I just don't know, I feel like I'm just prolonging what's inevitable for me and I know that if I set a date I'm going to find some reason or something to postpone it or something will convince me to wait. I would just like one night, for example, like today, when I don't feel like trying anymore, thinking "in a few hours it will be time" of course I already have everything ready, letters, protocol and everything I will need in a bag. I would like to do it tomorrow, I am very tired of everything. I suppose that tomorrow I will know and this time I will book 2 days in a hotel for more peace of mind.

Are you going to define a date or will it be at the last moment that you decide?

The old folks say variety is the spice of life... Perhaps spontaneity is the spice of death, you think?

If anything convinces me to postpone anything, perhaps there's a good reason to be convinced.

I don't like to second guess myself. That said, when I was a carpenter I liked to measure twice, and cut once.

I personally view it as being better to not set a date and just leave this world when the time feels right instead, as of course something could get in the way of plans if a date is set in advance. Life is unpredictable after all and we don't know what could happen on the date we plan to ctb on, like the SI could prevent people from going through with it. I think that as long as one has a method plan then they can just exit when they know that it's time.
