May God bless you all in this forum in the following ways.

1. May God give you a peaceful and painless death when he see you deserve it

2. May God provide you with everything you need for a peaceful and painless death when he see you deserve it.

3. May God remove all obstacles that come in the way of your ctbing peacefully and painlessly and as soon as you want it when he see you don't deserve them

4. May God give you relief and rest and peace between now and the moment you ctb.

5. May God protect you from failing in your act of ctb and it's bad consequences.

6. May God show you that if you believe in his son Jesus Christ you will live in heaven in peace, joy and relief for eternity even if you ctb.

7. May God bless me with all the above six blessings aswell.

You can type amen for all or specific number of blessings you agree with.

I shouldn't say anything, but the asshole in me feels greatly compelled.

Firstly however, thank you for the blessings, they are very kind. That being said I'm quite sure if there is a being or god responsible for all existence he wouldn't wish us to take our own lives. And even if he did, I think it's best to limit the blessings away from forcing religious ideals into others, specifically the part about how belief in Jesus grants a ticket to heaven.

Regardless, I appreciate the sentiment. It was very kind. I understand you are doing what you feel is right, and so I hope nobody goes overkill on your beliefs.

Finally, again, I feel like an asshole making this response. Religion might not always be the most positively perceived, but I have no qualms with faith, even in a forum of countless faith forsaken. I'm sorry if I came off harsh, I tried to be as cautious with my words as possible, but it's possible I'm just a giant asshat and for that I'm very sorry for any harm done.

Your God sounds a whole lot more compassionate than I think the 'real' one is. (If there is one...)

How do you suppose your God decides who deserves their mercy and do they deliberately go out their way to punish people they don't particularly like? Sorry, but I find it hard to comprehend a God who brings so much suffering on GOOD people- even children/babies. Not everyone who suffers deserves it. My Mum died when she was 40. I don't remember her but from what I've heard- she didn't have a wicked bone in her body. I don't understand why such a good God would do that.

Still- again- I'm sorry. I have nothing against you. I'm happy if your faith gives you strength and comfort and it's kind that you want to share those blessings here. I fully suspect I don't deserve God's blessings because I'm really not a fan. I'd in honest truth prefer there not to be a God because- from what I've seen- the whole system isn't fair but who knows.

You seem like a very kind and generous person- and that's what counts at the end of the day. I hope you get your wishes.

yikes.. do we really need this type of posts here? no. this isn't the type of posts you can make here and use this type of wording. I'm a believer myself even tho my relationship with him now is bad but I still don't think this is okay to post. religion have a lot of trauma to most of us so this type of posts are honestly triggering. whenever I see religious posts here all I think about is how god didn't protect me as a kid and other victims here when they were getting sexually or physically abused even when they prayed that god would make it stop. so keep your blessings outside of everyone safe space. I say all of that with love of course but I said this is triggering for most people here.

If we don't believe in Jesus #6 implies we don't deserve the same peaceful afterlife as those who do, nor a blessing requesting one. Just mercy until and into death. I can't take the other blessings at face value with #6 included.

Without that it would've been a beautiful post. However it was included. It's why Christianity lacks legitimacy. What about the people who have never heard of Jesus? Or those who experience the hateful, discriminatory aspects of Christianity and are rightfully offended? Due to the inherent hypocrisy of core tenets of the religion opposing each other? Leading to inconsistent ethics :(

I mean… wouldn't a more appropriate approach be "if people don't accept Jesus grant them the grace and same love as those who do"? That's not what it's really about. It's about getting people to join the tribe for societal control through love and fear.

I'm going to try to be as kind with my words as possible. I do NOT believe in a god. If there is one where was he/she when my child was being murdered by her step-father and her friends? I could go into a tirade of what I think of god, but I'm restraining myself. I agree with the other posts here. This site is NOT a religious site - god has no place here or anywhere (even if there actually is one). This is very triggering for me........

I have to agree with what has been said so far; I am also having to use some restraint here because I have extremely strong feelings on the subject of religion. There are many people here who are not religious, indeed, you are likely to find that a good portion of the SaSu population has been/is being actively harmed by or in the name of religion and will find a post like yours to be extremely triggering. I am one of those people.

Religion is a weapon that is actively used to disenfranchise and subjugate already marginalised groups and push them ever further out of society so that their elimination is seen as acceptable, and even desirable.

Religious arguments are made for removing the right to bodily autonomy, something which people in this community take very seriously.

May people here have suffered abuse at the hands of religious leaders, or have been told that they deserve to be mistreated because they live in ways that do not follow some religious tenet that they may not even subscribe to but are having pushed on them by those in their family or community, or by society as a whole.

All manner of negative behaviour can be, and often is, excused or justified by religion and many members here have been affected by that and likely do not have much in the way of positive feeling towards such "blessings." What's more, one does not have to have had any negative experience with religion or religious people to be unhappy with someone coming in and spouting such things; christianity is also not the only faith in the world, but is seems to be that group more than any other that comes into an otherwise religiously neutral, safe space to broadcast religiously-based messages. No good comes from it and, in a place like this, it may do more to cause discomfort or even harm.

Not trying to offend, but maybe… just don't, please.

Hi @Escapee, Thank You for the Blessings, l'm not overly religious myself but I do recognise when someone is being kind and thoughtful, l hope you accept some of those blessings yourself, Once again Thank You lovely person
