I've been using sharpener blades for SH but they keeps rusting after a while and become unusable.
I ripped out a razor blade from a razor and it was way too sharp and I cut so deep, I have no problem with that but it starts to hurt when touched and have risks of infections and also looks ugly too.

Any blade suggestions that is perfect for SH without too much sharpness or any health risks?

Astra. I swear by them. Be careful the first time you use a new blade as they are all different. I have used this since SHP times.

How deep a cut goes isn't really about blade sharpness. It's about the amount of pressure you apply when you cut. If you want shallow cuts, keep the pressure light.

It's suggested that you use a sharper blade rather than a duller one for cuts of any kind, because with a sharper blade the cuts heal easier and cleaner. Just again. Mind the pressure.

The blades I use are the ones designed for non disposable razors. Wilkson Sword. But from what I hear there doesn't tend to be huge differences in sharpness between the various brands out there.

Finally, note that you can clean your blades (and dry them immediately afterwards) to prevent rust and infection.

Wilkinson swords. Don't know where you're from but they're pretty easy to find regardless. I've been using them for years and they don't rust too quick neither. I've tried scalpels, box cutters, eyebrow razors (which work really well especially those pink ones but they rust and dull too quick), scissors and other razor blades but wilkinsons will always be the best imo
