Black Powder Guns

Was able to get a 44 black powder gun. I've seen a few places that it's been compared to a 38 special in terms of overall power. Does anyone have any opinions on this or things to be careful of. There was the suicide of Iris Chang , she shot herself in the mouth with a similar gun and died and there was one or two on wpd.

I have no thoughts on anything except Iris Chang. I like her a lot. She was a real hero in a way: she recorded the horror of what happened to a lot of people and at least their suffering wasn't forgotten. It was too much for her, though, hearing all their suffering. She died for her craft.
Are you sure you want to do this? I hope you've at least tried to get help first. Sometimes depression is treatable. I'm sorry for saying this, and I am pro-choice, I just hope you've tried to get better before considering doing this.

Yea being exposed to all that information would have to have a major effect on anyone.

I've had problems on and off for a long time and its just gotten worse overtime. I believe I may have ADHD and that could be the original issue for me. Never realized that it can have so wide reaching effects. Not just attention. Learned this too late. Too much damage done and bridges burned. I just don't know if I can do it with a gun. Kind of between a rock and a hard place right now.

Can't you just get an ADHD evaluation and start taking ADHD medication? You can build new bridges if old ones are gone... or try?

I also know nothing about black powder guns. But not all gun suicide attempts are successful. Please just really consider what you're thinking about.
