We're all caught in the gravity of imminent self destruction.
Every day edging closer to the center of the void.
It's not the knowledge of the end but the waiting that suffocates the mind.
Someone already suffering from impatience is twice cursed by this reality.
Realizing more and more how much nothing matters.
You have the vague notion that nothing has any meaning but there are deeper levels.
I'm done trying to connect with people beyond self interest. It's pointless.
Being comfortable is all that matters.
Only imagination limits you from understanding how torturous living can be.
Consciousness is probably more to blame than anything.
When we die I hope we lose sense of self aswell.
Imagine endless darkness and silence and having to sit there unable to do anything.
I think then and only then would life be worth living.
Too bad you can't appreciate one aspect without the other.
