What do you think about this? Could vitamin C/D be really lethal?
Absolutely everything is toxic, it just depends on the dose.
The amount you would need doesn't look that high compared to other substances (according to the chart you included it would be 480mg for a 80kg person and it doesn't say if it is vitamin D2 or vitamin D3) , but bear in mind that the chart is on the logarithmic scale, so the differences in lethality aren't as small as they look. Also, how would you get enough to OD?
If you look at a high dose Vitamin D supplement, then they can be about 10,000 UI, which is the equivalent of 6.25mg of Vitamin D (assuming the conversion of 1UI = 0.025 micrograms for Vitamin D). So you'd need a lot of them (75+) with all the inherent problems of keeping them in your stomach after ingesting.
Besides, I doubt vitamin D would be a nice way to go, it would cause a massive increase in calcium in your blood / body, which wouldn't be a pleasant experience.
