I've chosen the hydrogen sulfide method and from reading the forums ive found 2 methods of creating it:

  1. hydrochloric acid + sodium sulphide
  2. iron sulphide + Sulfuric Acid

I think i can get all these in my country. the iron sulphide is sold as "Iron (II) Sulfide Sticks" i assume this is correct?)

Is one mix better than another? they both produce hydrogen sulfide, but the first method also produces sodium chloride which is an irritant and the second method produces ferrous sulfate and i guess because the iron sulphide is not liquid, it may take longer to produce the hydrogen sulfide compared to the first method.

For the first method i would use 500ml of each. i am unsure of how much to use on the second method.

can anyone provide advice on this? thanks.
