Overdosing is pretty peaceful although you either need an inorganic salt, opioids or barbiturates. Inert gas is another method which is pretty straight forward but depends how you administer it. IMO overdosing is better if you have access to it.

I dislike firearms overall since I want to die in my sleep thus I'll sedate myself, I don't want tinnitus in my last moments of to feel the pain and panic in my last moments.

To me Nembutal sounds preferable to a gun, I think that N sounds like the best method and the most peaceful but sadly it's not even an option in this anti suicide society.

i have a gun, but cannot pull the trigger on myself. seems so violent. my guess is that most female suicides don't choose a gun

I've been studying this for days. The only viable option to me is partial suspension, but it seems impossible. 1) Finding the materials. 2) The mechanics of compressing the carotid. 3) Finding a place to anchor the material to.

Kate Spade committed suicide with a scarf. Robin Williams did it with a belt. Anthony Bordain used a belt from a bathrobe. Were they just lucky? I wonder how many times they attempted it before they got it right

I wonder that too. I attempted partial twice with a belt and each time the belt broke, but each time I lost consciousness. I believe it is possible but since I weigh about 210lbs I should try a scarf or rope.

That is statistically true. Most females use less violent meant l means(poisoning,etc.) That is why, even though females may contemplate suicide in a majority to men, the level of male suicides is higher. Because they are willing to resort to more lethal means.
