Best type of rope for hanging?

Sorry if asked somewhere before already. I just want to make sure my attempt is successful. Would any type of rope from a DIY store be sufficient? I'm about 14 stone/190lbs.

It's comfortable and comes with a loop already woven in so all you need to do is throw the loop over the anchor point and thread the other end through, then all you have to do is the slip knot for the noose. There are 10 and 12mm versions too and can be ordered in any country, this is just an example.
