I cant work out what kind of mood I should try and get in to overcome SI-is it better to be kind of really fired up, mayb have alot of coffee, wired, with a kind of anger & rage at life to make me feel sort of 'psyched ' up to give me the drive to ctb - or try and trick myself to be as calm as possible (hard when I feel intense fear), try and feel more reflective, contemplative-like this is simply what must be done, more of a kind of resignation-that whilst it is sad-this is unfortunetly the only way to end my suffering, maybe listen to come calming music-sadly i have no sedative type meds - what mood do you think is best/ or you will be in if/ when you reach that point?

Determined sounds good. For me I think also a feeling of agency or control. Like, this is what I've chosen to do. This is why. Here is the way that I am going to do it, and I am the one who set all of this up.
But that's probably because one of the big reasons I want to do it is my belief that I will never be fully independent.

When I feel most able I am not angry, bitter or grieving. I am in the peaceful "This is the best and kindest decision I can make for myself" state of mind, a happy excitement almost. I feel that would help with any possible pain as well, acceptance and not fighting it. I am most unable to when I have actual symptoms bizarrly enough because of being in such an anxious and uncomfortable state it makes me more afraid of the process. I am still on the fence as far as hope which is why I have not made any serious actions, but I am going to make sure I have good options that I am not afraid of, if it is needed.

I tend to see narcotics and benzos in the toxicology on many suicide victims. High BAC is also quite common. Drug/Liquid courage is what we call it. Most common methods are fire arms, deliberate overdose of narcotics/drugs, fall injuries from jumps and the recently increasing SN deaths.

SN has quite a few uses. It would be difficult to clamp down on it but I never put anything past politicians. Lol.
