im taking a trip to japan soon and i just wanted to know what people would recommend. i thought about jumping off the cliffs at tojinbo but also just jumping in front of a shinkansen, but i just wanted to double check and see if anyone here had any alternatives, suggestions, things i should know, etc.

Well it's not possible to care when you're dead, nothing matters after that point. Also a lot of people decide to do it when a "change" happens (trips, moving to different environment, job changes, etc)

id say leave jumping infront of a shinkansen as the last possible option ♡ should be good to avoid other people as much as possible in the process.

Im pretty sure Shinkansen have these glass barriers at the gates that only open after the train stops.

Aokigahara-the suicide forest in Japan might be an interesting place to visit

it looks pretty and i like forests, but my incredibly pretentious hipster opinion is that i dont think i wanna settle for something that americans associate with youtubers lol it is too well known and blasé
