  • Hey Guest,

Today, OFCOM launched an official investigation into Sanctioned Suicide under the UK’s Online Safety Act. This has already made headlines across the UK.

This is a clear and unprecedented overreach by a foreign regulator against a U.S.-based platform. We reject this interference and will be defending the site’s existence and mission.

In addition to our public response, we are currently seeking legal representation to ensure the best possible defense in this matter. If you are a lawyer or know of one who may be able to assist, please contact us at [email protected].

Title says it all. And if I have my drivers' license on me will a relative still need to ID my body?

I've been thinking about this as well, though I think I'll just resort to the good ol George Washington Bridge if I can't find one.

Unfortunately yes, just because you have the ID on you doesn't necessarily mean it's yours and therefore you. The rationale is you could have stolen it so there needs to be further confirmatory tests for your identity. Do you have any easily identifiable tattoos? That may allow your family to skip the viewing in some cases

Don't need to view the body. The police will contact the next of kin.

I would recommend not naming locations where you intend to CTB. Someone who did that was reported to the police and they were waiting there when they showed up to CTB.
