Benzos and Alcohol

So besides Whitney Houston, does anyone ever really die from these two? For those who did try this, were you actually surprised it didn't work or just thought "Yeah I figured" when you came to?

I have done massive quantities of benzos with alcohol multiple times, and didn't come close to dieing. I'm talking 1g of alprozolam (that's right, 1000mg of xanax) with a fifth of vodka, on multiple occasions. It's just, not a reliable way to die.

Benzos, with opiods AND alcohol - now you're getting there.

Dang, that disappoints me. But I suppose I knew that to be the case already. My only hope would be the fact I've never (literally never) drank alcohol before. But I'm sure I would probably just vomit it up. How long were you out when you did the 1g and alcohol?

Was out cold for 2 days, woke up in my own piss and vomit, cold and thirsty as hell. Lost about week after that in memory, just got bits and pieces. Another incident I woke up in jail after stealing a car and wrecking it in a suicide attempt, spent 16 months in jail. I have tried really, really hard to die, a little afraid I'm immortal.

I think Houston was doing other drugs as well. Wasn't she found in a bathtub like her daughter? Could be the benzoes and alcohol made her pass out and then she drowned in the tub?

The combo can be alright for recreation. As a method, the chances of it being fatal are pretty low.

Yeah, i guess the rub was they weren't sure which happened first. if the benzos killed her or if they just knocked her out and she drowned. But youre right, pretty low chance. But probably better odds than tylenol. and people try that all the time.

saying that whitney houston died from benzos and alcohol is very inaccurate. it was a combination of using coke, weed and alprazolam while having a hearth disease and then loosing consciousness in a bathtub. this is the first time that i read mention of alcohol in her death.

and to answer your question, no, using alcohol and benzos is not likely to kill you. if you take a large dose of both then you'll probably vomit because of the alcohol, pass out for a long while and then wake up to an extremely bad hangover and a terrible rebound of anxiety.
i frequently use both (not for suicide reasons but still in large quantities) and i can tell you that i never felt like i was dying or had shortness of breath. but i definitely felt that while testing some N and i can see why that substance was replaced by benzodiazepines.

Like many have testified above .. Benzo plus alcohol will not kill ... But still I really envy guys who at least have access to benzos .. Here in Mumbai, India getting benzos is freaking v diff. May have to forge prescription or something. Damn getting metho for an SN regime is also tough .

I read that the exit plastic bag should be used with this combination for increased lethality.

I have tried twice with large amounts of xanax & vodka; the first time, I actually got up, tripped on the side of my bed, split my forehead on the corner of my desk and hairline fractured my nose; my bf took me to the ER and they didn't even pump my stomach, just gave me an IV bag. A week later tried again with a refilled xanax Rx and lots of vodka; ended up just being taken to the ER again and they gave me another couple of IV bags like the first time. I feel like a failure and am wracking my brain trying to come up with something that will work. Sorry to babble; just my experience.
