For the last 2-3 years I've been on a very thin line of wanting to CTB and wanting to live but everytime I get in that mindset of wanting to die I don't know what it is but something, a feeling comes up and pulls me back onto that line and it feels like something is keeping me from descending too far down into that mindset again.

Finally to my point of making this, I've heard about the effects of taking a lot of Benadryl and honestly it feels like that's what I've been looking for. Something to make me just disappear for awhile not die but just go away then come back I'm not sure if I'm making sense.

I dont know how much to take or if I should or if there are better alternatives but I thought maybe I could get some advice or thoughts about it from here.

Since these do effect people differently based on the body I guess I should leave basic stuff to help for more accurate help

I am a male
And I'm 125 lbs

Honestly I wouldn't use Benadryl AKA diphenhydramine. A better alternative would be dextromethorphan. It's over the counter, you can find it in cough syrup. Make sure there are no other ingredients though. You can also buy a pure tablet version online. It should be easy to find, idk if I can link the website here. Make sure to google side effects, dosage calculators, and harm reduction websites.

Benadryl is a deliriant. You won't have a great time with the hallucinations. Very high chance of just seeing super scary things like spiders crawling all over you mixed with paranoia.

Dextromethorphan is a dissociative so it's a lot more pleasant. You can get cool visuals and spiritual experiences with it. Music sounds amazing. Just make sure to check if any medications you take regularly interact with it. I know ssris/antidepressants are incredibly dangerous. High risk of serotonin syndrome.

With my personal experience though, taking more than the recommended dosage increase risks to overdose. I definitely feel you on wanting to disappear for a while though. Lately, I've been extremely depressed and one of the things that helps me is sleep. I wish I could give a better advice on this, but that's all I got. You could try one of those melatonin though if you have a hard time falling asleep. It helps me at least. The only issue with melatonin is over time, my body got used to the dosage, so I have to keep increasing it. Once it got to the point where the dosage is a little too high, I just stop for a week or so before starting on the lowest dosage again. Oh, it was melatonin gummies by the way cuz I like gummies.... haha...

I wouldn't do cough syrup though. I used to chuck Nyquil trying to CTB, but failed. Not only that, I developed GERD, so now I am in a fuck-fuck situation. Everything hurts cuz my digestive system health is pretty much gone.

Sleeping is quite the struggle for me but melatonin just doesn't work anymore I used to have to take it all the time as a kid so I guess my body just adapted to it too much.

What all other options would you suggest other than Benadryl?

For your weight about 175mg will probably induce mild hallucinations and delieriant effects, I wouldn't recommend it though for the same reasons loyalskateboard stated, I've also tried it before and you experience whats called heavy body load and I found that feeling very suffocating and discomforting. +1 for DXM though, if you do take it though get your hands on the gel caps that ONLY contain dextromethorphan, don't use nyquil its so gross to chug and has other ingredients that are only mildly damaging in large doses. If you cant get the gel caps use robitussin syrup, make sure you get the bottles that only have DXM in them though. You'll find the afterglow effect pleasant, preferably though if you want to just not exist and dissociate for a while ketamine is the best choice hands down, and legal to an extent in some circumstances.

I'll try the gel capsules first but If I were to go the ketamine route how would be able to get in possession of it since it's prescription only at least to my knowledge?
