The chances of being born are extremely slim, about one in four trillion. People use this statistic to tell you how lucky you are or how being birthed is a miracle. I disagree, I believe it to be the opposite, being born is the worst thing that can happen. Being birthed is a tragedy, the unluckiest thing that can happen. Being alive is a huge responsibility, that isn't even your fault, and it is extremely unlikely that you were to ever be born. Yet you were, living in this shit hole of a world.

I didn't ask to be born and now I have to live until I die, the fact that I did not ask to be born and that I was born to two people who were definitely not meant to be parents. And now, because of their recklessness and poor decision making I must continue to live my meaningless life. This doesn't sit well on me. Now, I can either suffer through life until I'm elderly and pass away or kill myself. I just feel very tired and that everything I'm doing is pointless and unimportant and I wish I had just never been born because my birth was equally as pointless.

I agree but I've never understood how they work out this statistic. Is it like the amount of times sex ends in pregnancy and pregnancy results in birth? According to doctors, my birth was a 'medical impossibility'. I wish they'd been right.

the statistic is all over the place ranging from 1 in 400 trillion to 10 followed by 2,685,000 zeros who knows what the odds are i don't think we can really calculate it to many variables, like what makes you you from birth because what would of happened if one of the other sperm had meet the egg would that result in me not existing

Being born here has nothing to do with statistics. It's a lie.

And I was sent here by the old gods
Who knows
Personally I wouldn't hold any beliefs of any Gods since all the NDE data speak for itself when it comes to that ..
Believing in Gods according to that research will get you Mind wiped and reincarnated back here forcefully.
I would never want to come back here lol

The moment you're born, you're manipulated into believing there's a purpose to life and there's no other option to being here. Suddenly you get all these desires and lies about what you really want as your body desperately tries to keep you alive. The state of nonexistence before living was not a problem, but now that we've been forced into existence, so many people adamantly believe there is no worse thing. It's a trap.

If the "old gods" exist, there is a long queue of people with a long list of questions waiting to meet..,
Just as if there's an AI that programed everything or aliens or whatever, everyone has questions as to why any of this exists.

I was just joking since I don't think any beings exist in reality capable of anything we'd call a God. We just die and that's it, I don't think we continue on after that.

Well , a lot of things need to fall in place for life to be worth it. And yes , the science behind birth is a miraculous process no doubt. But the thing to ponder on is did I need it ? Existence only makes sense if before birth I existed in some other realm and that existence was painful.

Yeah, I don't understand the logic that just because something is rare, it is good. I mean, I don't even think pro life people apply this logic to other areas of life, such as a rare cancer of disease for example. Yet they apply this logic when it comes to being alive. It's very bizarre

I find it really absurd when people act like it's something so wonderful being burdened with the ability to suffer, procreating certainly is something so tragic as all it does is create problems and suffering there was never a need for in the first place. It's something so terrible to be conscious and aware of this reality, capable of experiencing such extreme pain and agony. It's torturous having the ability to exist as a concious being in this hellish reality who cannot just easily die in peace.

I agree. Being born was a tragedy for me. I was in the wrong place at the wrong time to be brought into existence (without my consent btw).
