I wonder if anyone else feels like they can trace their lives back to some point where after everything went down hill so to speak.
Let me preface by recognizing this is a privilege in disguise, to be able to do this means that you had a point high enough amongst the valleys of your life so at to be distinguishable, for many born say physically disabled they don't have such a luxury.
In any case, it's odd how your outlook on everything can change so dramatically after everything you thought you could be is proven to be nothing but a delusion. Somehow even worse is that it's often possible to figure out how your life might look like if you made even slightly different choices before your last peak, and how much better your life would be if you did.
