Struggling and needing help
Going to be 64 next month and life is worse than ever. Having trouble coping.

Hey, you can't use it yet I don't think as you need to make some more posts, but there's a chatroom section of the site and one of the rooms is 40+. Most people here are in their 20s or younger so that might be more your scene. There will be a chat bubble in the upper right corner of the window when you can use it.

I am 75 and relate to the line from the first Star Wars movie when Hans Solo said, "I have been from one end of the galaxy to the other and have seen a lot of strange things".

As physical systems begin to fail, one finds a more limited range of physical activities. The prospect of what happens after death becomes a subject of growing interest. I find comfort in my Christian faith, but it was a long time cultivating that because there is so much one has to sift through to find that which is useful.

It can be more difficult without family or friends. However, there are organizations that can provide a sort of community of support. My sister goes to a swimming pool once a week that has a time for elderly people and has friends there.
