They framed Kenneth as this psycho mass murderer as if he personally brainwashed everyone into buying his stuff then committing. I recall the court found him not guilty of any degrees of murder too.
And as per usual, nobody cares *why* they never ask *why*. They don't try to help, at all, beyond making sure it's harder for us to die. At least they weren't too bitchy about the forum.

What even is the director thinking here? There is no insight to be gained, just an emotional (without it, how vapid would it be) retelling of a story that obscures its intricacies. Why bother seriously asking and answering the bigger questions of "what exactly causes these people to turn to forums like these?" but let's just append that on the last scene of the documentary so people don't say that we didn't address it. All this guise, pretense of doing this for the bereaved and for suicide prevention, is a front to make a goddamn investigation thriller/misery film out of it. Good job on the director, you're going to be hailed as a real champion to the people that have no sort of media literacy. But ackshually nuh-uh, they're shining a light on this very sensitive topic so we have to respect their attempt to make their money or reputation from it /s. The narrative betrays what any of the bereaved actually want, which is redirecting future people wholly away from suicide, not to let them simmer in the fucking boundary between suicidal ideation and complete action by taking down methods or restricting internet sites. In fact, they don't provide any provisional remedies, any motherfucking plans, process, development for the suicidal's benefit, which shows how much they care about them and how much they just care about pushing a product out. A faint message of curiosity at the end is all what they seem to allow. Blaming and making a pariah out of Kenneth provides a shit scapegoat over the multitude of factors affecting a person's choice to suicide, and media like this serve to deceive the overly worried and the bereaved into some inefficient crusade.

I managed to find a site to watch it here in the US. Didn't know YT had it. No biggie. Anyway, it's really the same, old, worn-out, tired-ass spiel blaming and scapgoating anyone and everyone other than the ones who actually had a hand at making their loved one suicidal, or, at least, turning a blind eye to their loved one's problems. It's always easier to blame others for your shortcomings. What all these prolifers, or more accurately, anti-choicers, fail to grasp is that their loved ones were already suicidal when they discovered this website. SaSu didn't make any of the highlighted cases in the documentary suicidal. Perhaps if their families were paying a bit more attention to their loved one's anguish, and not sweeping it under the rug, their loved ones might still be alive today.

Came back to say that the background music and sound effects are sickeningly trite. It's an insult. These were people who suffered immensely to the point where the only option they saw before them was death. Don't play your generic, 'heart-wrenching', laboratory-generated nonsensical slow strings while discussing their deaths. It's sick. I'm so angry today thanks to the world that thinks a documentary like this does any good.

I've only watched a tiny bit of these discussing our "harmful site" again. Don't understand how they make such a big deal out of the wrong thing. It's like they are criminalising suicide, painting a picture of a murder network, wasting time investigating how we die and not why? As if the importance is to stop the supply and shut down the forum and life will be a happy place? Don't they understand that we end up here because we want to die?

They are making it about the families, pointing fingers to the suppliers of a substance that we want and a forum where we feel safe. Saying things like it's "tragic and astonishing" that places like this exist, and that their loved ones "didn't stand a chance" once joining. Well yes, thankfully we have a forum to discuss suicide like adults because we choose to, for various reasons the world does not want to see. They cannot accept that we want the "poison", and that we are not being "encouraged" to take it.

Something is wrong with this picture, because they paint over the thing nobody wants to talk about, i.e., suicide. Sadly, they don't know that their loved ones were part of a caring online community and they may not get this, but I've experienced more love and kindness here, than in the world out there. Nobody marketed this website to me, and I'm very grateful to have found it.

I have to admit that SaSu is definitely an interesting sociological phenomenon that deserves public speculation. It's just very difficult for outsiders to understand what the suicidal users on this site are going through, and also understand that this site is actually helpful for some people. Sure, it can be a place for people to source suicide methods, and that may be dangerous in that people will die because of what they read on SaSu, but it's also the ONLY place that suicidal people can voice their feelings and thoughts about what they are going through.

This world is so closed off for us: We can't talk to psychiatrists. We can't talk to friends or family. We are completely without connection when it comes to the true feelings we are having about wanting to die, and that's not okay! They just want to pump us full of pills and lock us away instead of helping us. At least here, we can come to the crossroad... I don't know if SaSu is healthy, but it's literally the only option we have to talk about suicide without judgement from people who will never understand.

I think the ultimate question is: "Does SaSu deserve to exist?"

I say yes, because it represents a clear unmet need in our society. Suicide remains one of the leading causes of death, yet people who feel suicidal often have nowhere safe to speak honestly about it... This forum reflects the failure of our systems to give people a place to be heard without judgment, fear, or forced intervention.

But also no, because within the same space, many people are exposed to suicide methods or encouraged to die when there might still be other paths forward.

It's unfortunate that the people with the power to make meaningful changes rarely seem to notice (or understand) how desperate the need has become.

I have trouble understanding what they are saying with the accent. But I can know why we have to do a quest to find the SN and they find it just by asking when they have just created their account? 😆 lol

Emotional manipulation and sensationalism at top speed. I didn't want to go beyond the first few minutes; I don't want to waste my time and patience with this kind of crap.

But yeah it's frustrating that they had all the information without even looking when I spent 1 month looking for it in vain MDRRR. Like wow they are lucky say so (lol)

Yep it was absurdly fast how quick the got the name of the site, not even clues but the straight up name lol

I did end up finding out the old source via investigation however it has since been taken down and I haven't began searching for another. Don't think I will either, not my type of method (at this point in time anyways).

But yes! I don't understand English perfectly but then I understood "hello what's the site" DM 2 minutes after "its Cuisine". I would like to have the point of view of those who gave the name of the site without even asking the question.

Since I know sasu I know that we should not trust at all those who ask for the name of the site when their account was created 10 minutes ago lol!!

Yup that is essentially what happened. The simplicity of the conversation makes it even more funny like you said. No questions asked lol

LOL, but it supports the fact that "THE SITE KILLS!! HE SENDS THE LINKS DIRECTLY WITHOUT TAKING THE TIME TO GET TO KNOW THE PERSON". So .. please come and interview me (no) I will tell you that after 1 month of research I found nothing and yet I am not new on the site
I continue the episode, she says "you are not allowed to offer help or advice for people to get better otherwise you will be banned". It's so wrong
"You don't know if people regretted it and wanted to come back" I think about it sometimes, I think it's human to think about it. The sister is a little touching but a liar lol.

Yes
They framed Kenneth as this psycho mass murderer as if he personally brainwashed everyone into buying his stuff then committing. I recall the court found him not guilty of any degrees of murder too.
So, Kenneth Law has not been found guilty of anything, he remains in custody awaiting trial and has pleaded not guilty. The charges against him are merely formal allegations, as he is presumed innocent under the law at this stage. He still faces 14 counts of first-degree murder, which were previously second-degree murder, an additional upgrade to the 14 counts of counselling and aiding suicide charges he is facing.

I think the murder charges are legally unprecedented. I just don't see how this could be proven, it seems unlikely.

As for in the documentary I agree with that they try to frame him in terms of being some psycho murderer brainwashing and preying on individuals to buy his sn to ctb. Idk I think the perspective they present seems to undermine the reality of both suicide and actual homicide victims.

Thank you for sharing those "documentaries" (more like "sensational trigger content").

Everytime I heard "nobody even offered them to get help" I felt like screaming. I am one year into my "recovery" journey and holy shit. The amount of rejection, misdiagnosis and straight up ignoring me was not the help everybody kept advertising me. One year of suffering, bureaucracy, telling 10+ different "professionals" what I am struggling with - it hurts so much to think about all the pain in my past life.
For nothing. For being told "grow up" or "you are not really sick" or "it was just bad life experiences".

I am trying to get into those mental health recovery programs, because I want to let the people in my life know that I tried everything, but everything just refused to help me. They shouldn't be mad with me or this forum, but with the fucking system that is supposed to help, but can't, because the fucking world is sick. Quantity over quality - it's all about growth at the cost of human's mental/physical health.

People, who are not suicidal, give me the impression that they don't really understand why I think about wanting to end my pain. All they see is what I tell them and then conclude "well, it was just the industry/employer of your work.. try again a better place". As if I chose those "bad" places on purpose? I was trying to follow my passion and make a living with something I enjoy, but the work stress always makes me weak after a while - so weak that not even a holiday can fix it?
I am tired of explaining... Tired from all the different recovery attempts.
There is one more place I can try. But it might also just reject me and tell me the same things like the other places told me.
Reaching out for "help" sucks... They only make me feel less wanted.

Funny is that I found this side thanks to a youtube video that tried to demonize it. At the time I was trying to make posts about suicide on reddit, but the best replies I got were "Don't do it, it gets better."
