Heyyy I was just like wondering why people cut then get in the bath. Iirc cutting vertical can kill someone, but why do that and then get in the bath? What exactly does the bath do?

To answer your question though, warm water can prevent the blood from clotting and it makes you physically warm, which causes your blood vessels to dialate.

Don't people in the films do it in the bath because it's easier for the set designers to clean afterwards cause you can just run the tap and fake blood no more!
