Help Barbituric acid

Hello is there anybody with experience as a chemist who can help with this method if u have barbituric acid which is an acs reagent and can be acquired fairly easily as a lab chemical for testing it's the main ingredient that barbiturates are made of although itself not being pharmalogicaly active you can synthesize from it all the barbiturates like especially pentobarbital so does anybody know how the process works? I've seen it mentioned online so plz is it too complicated or is it fairly doable and how?!!
