Folks, I want us to talk about a natural behaviour engrained in our minds, but stronger than survival instinct.

Arousal.

Ten years ago I was toying with such an idea and managed to produce a tie-up in which my relaxing body would increase tension around my neck, and all it took was for me to masturbate along with the oxygen deprivation until the point of unconsciousness.

I am aware, my family would be embarrassed, or whoever might assume I died while masturbating. That's fine; I'll be dead. Let them make sense of the world, and my corpse might be part of the mystery. Who cares.

What I am suggesting is that a person can use a comfortable position to strangle themselves while masturbating and while withholding orgasm, manage to render themselves unconscious and gravity would do the rest of it.

I was able to get to the point where I had bruising all over my eye sockets; I looked like a baboon when I raised my eyebrows and that was fun.

If you want it, you want it. Use your sexual instinct to overcome the others. It can be done.
I was discovered. It was ten years ago, and along with having no more opportunities, I almost believed I could heal. I regret that the person who found me did do that, and she's working in addictions and support now, which warms my heart. But she didn't save me! Haha <3

I think people don't talk enough about the sexual component of all this,

I am also certain that so-called accidents where someone has "accidentally" passed out were really a decision to CBT. I have certainly tried it a few times and found that I nearly passed out, and came much closer to that moment than just practising. If I had that thought in my head that it was a true attempt, I think it would have been easy to exit life at that moment. I regret I didn't.

It may be my path in the future because it does work.

I have a really strong survival instinct [and a low urge to use acronyms], and I was able to get incredibly close. In fact, without ligature I am able to hold my breath much longer during sexual pleasure.

The first clue-in I had to this psychological ability was actually during smoking crack cocaine, rather than masturbating. But, I would hold my breath and watch the clock. The longer the hold, the better the feeling.

Showed me something. I'm not a stims addict and thank God for that, and autoerotic is always available.

Has anyone ever tried a blood pressure cuff or similar? It seems as if it would apply enough pressure for asphyxia without some of the discomfort involved in other methods. I have heard of others using them for "breathplay". Perhaps someone here could comment?

My thought is actually to employ a pair of chestnuts I collected from nature underneath a belt. They are a very good shape to focus pressure on the arteries and while pressed against my neck they cause fainting sensations faster than I can accomplish with my hand alone. I have a stretchy belt that I believe will work to hold them in place, and I'm hesitant to dry-run that setup as it may be lethal and I don't want to be found except by wild animals.
