Some people say "seeing the light" is coming out of the womb but that doesn't make much sense. Perhaps suicides reincarnate into somebody close to their previous family, like a newborn nephew or niece. The scarier reincarnation theories are those of repetition, where we just repeat the same damn life over and over again to infinity, never actual knowing and only speculating like I am now. The thought of a greater being or mother-like entity that embraces us in death can be comforting. Nothingness is both comforting and terrifying, but both of those feelings couldn't be felt in nothingness.
