Assuming reincarnation was proven real and after death you were reincarnated instantly as a human and it's totally random would you still ctb or have the desire too ctb?

Nope. I'm agnostic. I don't care for religion, but greatly respect their moral teachings. Don't really take much stock in the mythos of Jesus Christ being resurrected and all that stuff. Maybe it happened, maybe it didn't, I wasn't there.

I was using the hell/heaven analogy to explain to my therapists how far apart in status we are, and how I feel about death. You'd think that if I view it this way that I wouldn't fear it. If I didn't fear death, I wouldn't be typing this right now. Damned animal instincts.

God punishing the innocent was my way of explaining how pointless suffering is, and how much life is dictated by fortune. There is no reason behind one's suffering. Some people suffer immensely, then die. A lot of successful people try to say that they're successful because they've suffered. Well, if that's the case, then why am I not a billionaire? Why don't I have a happy family and children I love?

There are no scales to balance. Your past pain does not grant you future joy. The cosmos is indifferent.

Who knows, if I reincarnated I might be worse off. Maybe I'd get my idealist version of what I want my life to be. It's a gamble, and I love gambling!

it depends on what it ends up being like i guess, and what my new mind and body is like there. if i dont have to be depresssed and in the wrong body and autistic/if the world has better support then maybe. but i'd have to be able to do theatre too, i'd be very sad if i couldnt.

Definitely, especially if i could skip ahead in history so i can get this godawful next couple of years behind me. If my new life turned out to be shit id just hop to the next one. Although, could re really die if our existence is eternal? Would death become just a metaphor?

I guess it depends on whether I retain my current life memories into the next life. I might be able to make better choices in reincarnation, unless I was dealt with bad cards from the beginning haha. The burden of living will always be more insufferable than a singular-purpose hell or heaven though, so I might want to ctb but also might be afraid to because "I literally got reincarnated; if I die, will I just reincarnate again?"

Yes because it's irrelevant. Our memories are completely wiped after we die and we'll all die eventually.
