What about asexual women?

Everyone that I know who's asexual hates it. But I think I have come across one or two people here who don't care about being asexual or at least don't have strong feelings about it.

I'm effectively asexual and I have no strong feelings toward that fact either way. It is a non-factor personally. Culturally and emotionally, sexuality is tangled-up with intimacy and social support, some of which may be accessed exclusively via sexual and/or romantic relations since people conventionally occupy roles toward each other and the friend role may not be sufficient to cover all needs if you are lacking the romantic and/or sexual roles in your life. But that's ancillary really.
