What is your preferred method, and are you using it? If you are, why are you? If you aren't, why aren't you?

I'd love to use a gun. If done correctly a gun shot is a guaranteed death, and it's quick. Unfortunately gun licences here are expensive, time consuming, and I probably can't get one due to my history of depression. So SN it is.

What about you all?

i would honestly use a gun but in the uk getting a gun is one of the most difficult things to obtain. i would do SN but i still know very little about it and instructions aren't clear to me. i'm very stuck on the idea of an exit bag though

Strangely enough, I think so. I don't have N, though N is optimal. But what I'm getting goes right for the heart, and I have satisfaction in the idea that this time it is not emotional pain but the end to that pain that finally squeezes my heart.

I would love to shoot myself or to OD on sleeping pills but it's impossible. I can't begin to describe how happy I was to discover the Night-night method when I joined this site. After weeks of practicing and getting nowhere I had to give up and now I'm going with SN.

I'm attracted to partial hanging... I don't know if I'd use any other method. Guns make me nervous. I don't trust anything you ingest. I already jumped off a 3 story building and don't want to experience that again.

Something about a rope giving you a nice, tight hug around the neck just does it for me. A few seconds and it's lights out if you do it right. I get excited when I see tattered rope on the ground (though it's not usable.) I look for anchor points to connect a ligature in whatever building I'm in. Plus, some of my favorite celebrities like Robin Williams and Chester Bennington went out that way. I feel it's my method.

Have TRIED to attempt: jumping (SI too high), OD on Digoxin (knew I would call emergency, so didn't ingest the numerous pills), shooting range (too little time not being monitored).
Have purchased but don't trust: SN
Will Settle On: partial suspension (ensuring 24/7 access; awaiting pull-up bar installation into the wall)

my dream would be N, i'll try to obtain it when i move away from my family but i expect to get nothing.

i'll have to settle for amitriptyline and/or carbon monoxide via charcoal burning. those are the only methods i can acquire and i don't trust SN or hanging.

Going with SN because it's cheap, relatively peaceful and quick. I think I'd pick F over SN but again; difficult to source here and impure
