• Hey Guest,

We wanted to share a quick update with the community.

Our public expense ledger is now live, allowing anyone to see how donations are used to support the ongoing operation of the site.

Over the past year, increased regulatory pressure in multiple regions like UK OFCOM and Australia's eSafety has led to higher operational costs, including infrastructure, security, and the need to work with more specialized service providers to keep the site online and stable.

If you value the community and would like to help support its continued operation, donations are greatly appreciated. If you wish to donate via Bank Transfer or other options, please open a ticket.

I consider myself a theist, i don't follow any specific set of beliefs or religion. After all you've been through do you truly think a God exists and watches over us? I've always been conflicted in this sometimes i want to believe in a higher being, when i am hopeless, sometimes i don't. I do believe religion can help you find a purpose or bring you peace if you're recovering.

I believe in a higher power, BUT never ever any form of organized religion ever.

I have seen too much, as far as money and power in organized religion and it is NOT for me.

TV preachers in multimillion dollar homes, really!

I remember, back in the early 1990's meeting an older person and to find out that he was a retired minister, as we spoke, it came around about occupations, and he told me that he had been clergy and then told me this: "Boy it sure did not pay a lot". I will never forget that statement, as I always thought that a person who went into religion as a livelihood did it to help folks, NOT get rich, YIKES!

But yes, there is a power or whatever that is greater than we know.

What you say has always been true even in the 14th century, Religion is supposed to benefit your 'soul' but it has turned into a domain for politics, money and corruption.

I'm agnostic, but culturally muslim ig. I spiritually believe in a god, but dislike all the laws/structure that comes with it. Most organized religions tend to come with some form of misogyny, racism, hypocrisy, or all of the above.

Demonolator of the left-hand path. Even though everyone is quick to call other's "demon possessed" and "demonic" in the big 26, my kind is actually pretty rare.

I am a religious person. I find it comforting that God goes with me wherever I go and that I will go to heaven when I die and be reunited with family members and pets who have died before me. But I know there is no evidence of this, so there is a decent change I am wrong. Since there is no evidence, people are free to believe whatever they want or not believe in a higher power at all. I respect everyone's right to believe and would never try to convert anyone.

No, anything to do with religion is completely fictional to me, I'll always just see existence as a terrible mistake that just causes all this cruelty and suffering with no limit as to how much one can be tortured.

I'd never see any point to any of this, all that existing is, is just suffering all for the sake of it and it's just so terrible how humans impose this existence at all, to suffer in this existence will just always be an abomination to me and all I want is to be free from it, only in non-existence will I be at peace from this futile, dreadful existence that only ever tortures existing beings.

Yes~ :) Excluding arguments for one faith or another, religion is just so much more interesting than atheism, so I choose that~ :)

Theist, I think existence in general are technically too "perfect" to simply exist from nothing with no reason or purpose, not only that I dont think two lifes can create soul, conscience, and whateve abstract things there (or maybe im ignorant never thought too hard on this)
But when its come to who created that higher power, everything has to be a origin, its conflict me, and why they created me, a failure, in the end I just think that god nature are the "power and logic transcends our comprehension" excuses and do nothing about it cause Im tired to think my purpose.

I'm just not sure. Agnostic doesn't fit me really- because that's defined as feeling that the existence of God can't be proven. I'd be prepared to believe it if a God or prophet showed up and started performing miracles. I'm just in a frustrating limbo where I don't fully believe and don't fully not believe.

I actually wish I could be sure there wasn't a God. I can't see how the creator of this world could be good when violence and suffering is written into the very blueprint of its inhabitants. When creatures literally can't survive without destroying other sentient beings.

While not believing wouldn't exactly bring me comfort, it would bring me relief- to know there wasn't a (possibly) sadistic, narcissistic psychopath controlling all of this. (In my view.)

I'm an atheist, but it doesn't matter. At this point, it doesn't make any difference if there is a god, or another deity, or not. It hasn't manifestated in any way.

Some people will point at the bible, or at daily ocurrences they consider "miracles", but there's no real evidence of some higher power influencing life directly.

Now, how about the origin of the universe? I think it was some sort of accident. A being of incommensurable size dropped a beaker of chemicals on a huge space, and that gave place to the universe. Since time at their scale doesn't work the same as ours, he or she or it is still looking for a thing to clean the chemicals, while hundreds of millions of years pass at our scale. The end of our existence will be a giant hand using a cleaning cloth or something like that.

I'm an atheist. Unless someone can actually prove that he exists, then I never will.

Telling me something out of the bible or saying "Look around you, who do you think created the world?" will not make me believe.

I had one dumbass who asked me "Who do you think wakes you up each morning?"

He got mad and stormed off when I said my alarm clock.

Religious. Catholic.
I wish He'd save me from this. O question things.
But I will believe forever, even up to the moment I do this.

I tried to believe in God because I wanted answers so bad. I looked in Islam and Christianity, but I just don't believe in it. I do believe in higher powers, spirits, and whatnot, but organized religion just doesn't do it for me.
