I think being asexual is definitely a thing but being pan sexual, not so much. I think pansexual is another way to say bisexual. The oxford dictionary definition for pansexual is "not limited in sexual choice with regard to biological sex, gender, or gender identity" and I think that definition means a more "open/woke" bi person. I think my reasoning comes from me believing whatever you present as and feel you are is what you are no matter what you were anatomically born with and if a person likes boys and girls that should include everybody regardless of gender identity or what they were born with at birth. I get defensive over transgender people and I think making pansexual separate from bisexual is acknowledging they aren't a 'complete/correct' boy or girl. I am a cis straight female so I might be in the wrong but I know some of my transgender friends feel like they will never looked at as the same as a natural born male or female and this just helps that narrative. If anybody has any other thought or opinion on this I'd love to hear it!
Yeah, I agree with you It's quite rude to describe yourself as pansexual if you're attract to a transgender person, for me a Ftm is a man and a MtF is a woman and that's it, I don't care about the genitalia x) But I prefer to describe myself more as Pan than Bi because I can be attract to a nonbinary person and I guess that's not the case for a bisexual ?
I like pansexual as a label. I consider myself pansexual because I like the colors (sarcasm)
It's more precise than bisexual IMO, does a better job of including my attraction to nonbinary people.

that's what some trans people are going for, though

Relatable, have you looked into concepts like demisexual and grey asexual?
I'm not a big fan of increasingly specific labels, but this definitely is a thing
Ooooh I didn't remember demisexual was a thing but I guess that would be me x)

I'm bisexual, basically straight but I also like femboy and transgender. I have no experience anyway, at 29 I am a virgin.

I am just another human and do not feel I have a right to judge anyone; not only that, but I cannot fathom judging anyone because I believe that through diversity, we as a species inhabiting this earth evolve.

If anything, at this point I am about 90% asexual by choice, and while born with ovaries and a uterus, I have qualities that are stereotypically considered male (I excelled at "male" sports and was very physically strong when I was younger even though I was pretty tiny). I also have qualities that are stereotypically defined as female, not to mention qualities that have not yet been defined, except to say they are different than what is "expected."

I will be the first to admit that I have no clue when I hear about all of the different categories that people use to define themselves - but that is probably because of my age.

I dunno - intolerance of differences strikes me as painfully trying to force someone or a group of someones into a another's mold - and who is to say that person's mold is right?

I just say leave people be to live in peace with who they are. There is already too much wrong with this world - murder, kidnapping, rape, assaults, verbal abuse, CA, CSA, etc... Why attack people who are harmlessly different? Makes no sense to me.

I hope this did not sound like intolerance - I never really understood negative judgements like this.

Sexuality-wise, I identify as pansexual. I see bisexuality as being attracted to 2 or more genders, but pansexuality as being attracted to the individual regardless of gender. There is crossover, but i think that it's just a label and you can chose what works for you personally.

Gender-wise, Im AFAB and currently identify as nonbinary. I came out when I was 15 but my family refused to accept it and it forced me to bottle it up. Only a handful of people have accepted me as NB. Deep down I know that I'm a trans man, but I could never transition. The way my family reacted to me just wanting to use neutral pronouns was bad enough, me changing everything about myself would cause hell. I have severe dysphoria but none of the surgical options available right now would help with that, and because I'm femme presenting right now I doubt I'd be taken seriously. Plus with the way the government in the UK is slowly stripping away trans rights and putting in protections for people who are "Gender Critical", I don't think I would want to come out anyway..

I admire those who are brave enough to be themselves despite what others say. I hope one day I'll have your strength

I feel like I'm pan but at the same time asexual, I don't even know if it's a thing tho XD
Panromantic asexual?
Thats interesting. I just haven't met any trans people who want to be regarded as something a lil different than born at birth male or female. I always felt there were "two genders" despite what one might have been born with and are presenting as now. I guess it is slightly harmful to not recognize they are different than born at birth genders, I just never thought of it that way. Thanks for your input<3
Have you heard about nonbinary people? They are exactly what you describe, people who don't feel male or female, something a little different or sometimes a lot different

I'm bi and raised by two homophobic/biphobic parents, which led to a lot of issues during my teenage years that only caused me more trauma I guess.

To everyone else here who is in the community, I hope things are going as well as possible.

I am a bi trans woman. Being trans and experiencing the experiences that come with it (being hypersexualized even at a young age, chasers, hon culture, and, of course, being told to ctb constantly online by people who hate me for being trans) has been one of the main factors pushing me to ctb and ruining my mental health. I very much wish I could be cis, and I wonder if I would still ctb if I were. As a trans woman I've been sort of sectioned off from the rest of the LGBT community into trans-only spaces because cis people do not want to interact with non-passing, or really even simply "not beautiful" trans women.

This is what they posted on a forum for suicidal people many of whom are gay guys, non-whites & immigrants -

"I find most gay men to be overly effeminate, unitelligent, liberal brainwashed lisping tools and I cannot stand them [Not everyone, just most that I've met IRL and OL]
I do not suppport anyone under the age of of 25 committing suicide unless they are facing and actual lifelong terminal physical illnes.
I find 9/10 of Amerikans to be too stupid to be bothered with.
There should be a complete and ruthless deportaliation of all immigrants and non-europeans from Scandinavia regardless of legal status there."

Now this Nazi is playing the victim...

I saw that yesterday :( That person seems too overconfident and condescending at times(prior to that too) to belong here imo.
I'm a lesbian that meddled with hormones and other "gender affirmative" treatments for a while and now suffering the consequences.

She is not a pleasant individual, that's for sure. I have a feeling that the suffering in her life has turned her into a very hateful person. Misplaced anger...

I'm bi and when I tell it to someone I usually get the same answer "ah lesbian ok" Also if I'm with a guy then some people label me as straight. Looks like it's really hard to understand that I don't care about the look of my partner or their genre so I have to be lesbian or straight. Exhausting.

Bi but still questioning. I'm slowly thinking I might like girls more honestly.. Mainly because even before "straight" romance in media never seem to affect me in a way. Honestly thought i was a dead inside. Imagine my shock, when I first watched a canon lesbian on screen.

The gay panic is real, I tell you.

I didn't know I didn't add the + option on the poll I'm sorry. I added allies because I also wanted to see where others stood if not part of the LGBTQ+ community, it's nice to see more support for the LGBT community from people who aren't in it because when I was in school, everyone seemed to be against it and I was constantly bullied for having two loving fathers. I love the change happening now even though we still have miles to go in support/laws for the protection of the LGBT. Silence is compliance and the more people stand up for what's right on both sides the better!

According to WW2 sources I'm an honorary Aryan, so maybe I get to stay? Or does being non-straight cancel out the racial privileges?

Nope, only women who look & act like this get to enjoy Scandinavia

But know this, not everyone from northern europe is like that. I can assure you I'm not.
I know. There are angry, ignorant people who take their frustrations out on those who are more vulnerable than them in every country... -_-
