Are you an idealist?

I am an idealist. I wish I wasn't. . Basically an idealist believes that very good things can happen, without practical considerations.

I'm an Idealist and of course it's painful to be one on a world like this. I think most people on this site are or were idealists, but the world basically destroys anyone that opposes its cruel natural order, and as such we become jaded.

For the real world, I'm a jaded pessimist. For this website, mama bear will always be a source of ideal snuggles for everyone that desires it. That's how I act on my idealism, via mama bear. In many ways, she's the real me.

I feel like at times I can come off as a bit idealistic, especially irl, but I wouldn't say that I'm an idealist. I can be idealistic at times, but I feel like we all experience that at least every once in a while. I'd say that I'm lean more in the realist direction. A bit unrelated, but I dislike how a lot of people have a tendency to conflate being a realist with being pessimistic, since I tend to find overly pessimistic individuals to usually have more in common with idealists, tbh...
