I am still baffled of what is happening in the US. And people could have knewn that. Maybe they even knew it and still decided to vote for Trump.
I guess most of his supporters don't believe in human contribution to climate change.

But many on here hate humankind. And the climate catastrophe could decimate humankind.

I know this question sounds off. But what in the world (and why) has made Trump and Elon this powerful? It is unfathomable

Are there people who actually welcome the consequences of climate change?

The cynical irony is the poorest people who barely contribute to climate change would get hit the hardest. While the richest motherfuckers even consider to leave the planet when shit hit the fan. The same rich people who actively put this hell on earth on all of us.

I think Is "fault" of the other candidate to note supporta a ceasefire that allowed Trump to win

This Is a story we have seen many times. The Rich can pollute everything they want but the poors Will die of poisoning and the Rich MOST of the time Will not loose a single penny. Also medical insurance In the US Is a fucked up sistem

uhm. i might be suicidal probably all the time but in no way do i want to see other human beings suffer. anyone who voted for trump has essentially allowed for the ruin of not just this country, but the destabilization of other people. after this whole thing, ive learned that there are people who would cheer on trump and elon no matter what.

I´m not sure I care anymore about life. Suffering? sure...I would never torture or protest for the right to rape. But human life in itself? I don't think I care about it anymore.

No because it will decimate the habitats of a lot of other animal species too. It may well cause some of them to go extinct while others may actually thrive. Jellyfish and Lionfish I believe are doing well out of the rising sea temperatures.

Ideally, it would be best if we went voluntarily extinct I think. Or at least, if antinatilism really took hold. Which may indeed happen if fires, hurricanes, floods, natural disasters are hitting every other week.

Not that I wish for this by any means but, something that only targets humans would be best. A covid that affects reproduction maybe. Otherwise, I suppose AI may make it financially hard for us to support ourselves- if they take all our jobs!

Climate change though? No- that f*cks with the whole planets ecosystem.
