Are SN no longer easily obtainable in the US (2022)?

I kept seeing post that say SN is widely available, but I have searching for it online and couldn't find it.

I found chemical companies, but they only sell direct to businesses and sell in large quantities. There is no seller in eBay or Amazon that sell pure SN in bottle.

Is SN now restricted or... ? If you know a good source, feel free to PM me.

I am searching now with DDG (keywords "Sodium Nitrite purchase") and I see ones selling 50lbs bag, not in bottles like the ones shown in PPeH. Maybe I am not using the right keywords?

EDIT: further search shows company selling it but marked with things like "This item can only ship to a laboratory"...

I am now using Google and found ONE store, but the website looks like it's designed in 2008. Not sure if this is legit?

The rest that I have gone through either said "This item is sold and shipped to schools and businesses only. Not available to individuals or residential addresses" or it curing salt, which I believe it's not the correct one. Others are selling for hundreds of dollar (?)

I think the problem is that Duck Duck Go is NOT GOOD. Any time I have attempted to use it, the results have not been useful. It's a shame, really.

Yes, I ran into the very same issues trying to source SN. Most only supply to businesses and require proof of incorporation/paperwork.

DD in AL canceled my order without a word. Just refunded the money.

In the end, IC was excellent in fast shipping (while a bit expensive) and completely generic, plain, non-suspicious packaging.

I searched and some saw some sites selling SN while other sites advertised Food Grade SN. Is there a difference?

DD in AL canceled my order without a word. Just refunded the money.

In the end, IC was excellent in fast shipping (while a bit expensive) and completely generic, plain, non-suspicious packaging.

They didn't tell you why? You must be in college and high school or your shipping number is different from your billing number. Either those things or they found you on social media and realized you were too young. It's gotta be one of those reasons. If not it's because they suspect that you're not using it for the intended purpose. I'd imagine also now that Amazon has taken away all sources people are probably blowing these guys up. Especially because I mentioned on here that Matthew Mindler used it. Oops. Did they not send you an email explaining why they canceled your order?

Told ya' SN is getting harder and harder to find :-( I would be crushed if I didn't find mine. So I feel for you OP. It must feel like you're trapped. Keep digging, A bit of advice, don't judge websites based on if they're flashy with cool graphics or not. Sometimes all a business needs is a simple purchasing powered website, very to the point kind of site. I really wish you luck in finding what you are looking for.

Nope they only explained after I checked if it had been shipped. But yes, two different addresses were used, which I had mentioned to the sales rep I had been in contact.
