Are there currently more Conservative Republicans or more Progressive Republicans in the US? The Republican Party and people of Christian and Catholic faith seem more divided than ever right now, or maybe it's just where I live.
The biggest factor splitting them is Israel, but this has been going on for a long time. Evangelicals largely support it because "God's chosen people", neo-Nazis don't support it because duh.

Israel is always a funny topic when it comes to right-wingers. You often see rallies for your local shithead political party end up with neonazi flags waving next to Israeli flags and the only logical explanation is blind idiotic hatred.
