• Hey Guest,

Over the past year, increased regulatory pressure in multiple regions like UK OFCOM and Australia's eSafety has led to higher operational costs, including infrastructure, security, and the need to work with more specialized service providers to keep the site online and stable.

If you value the community and would like to help support its continued operation, donations are greatly appreciated. If you wish to donate via Bank Transfer or other options, please open a ticket.

Depends on your definition of "good" and "bad". If good means they don't kill people and bad means they will probably most are good. If good means they would die for a stranger and bad means they wouldn't definitely most are bad.

Hard to say, I guess on the individual? Sure there's people that can be bad bad like a murderer or a person who enjoys other people suffering. But a good person can do such as bad? Or maybe a bad person can redeem themselves.

Again depends on the individual.

I'd say bad because people tend to be selfish and only care for themselves~ :/ People are always seeking to take advantage of others~ >_<

Eternal shore gave a better answer not everyone is bad and selfish but most people are that's just the reality unless you live in some tight knit small town.

It's impossible to answer this question with certainty. Good and bad can be subjective, and people who are seemingly good can be bad, or vice-versa.

Most people are a mixture I imagine.

Who are worst though? People who know they can be bad but, don't care. People who try to reduce how unkind they are, or those who think they are great but do awful things?

Do you suppose most people think they are basically good? I imagine most do, so we can live with ourselves.

i dont think many people have actual malice in their heart, but almost everyone on earth causes harm that they are either completely oblivious to or in denial of. does that make them evil? i dunno, maybe.

Good and evil is a concept.
If people have killed each other throughout history, then it is part of our nature. Is nature evil or good?

We can have different definitions of evil and good.
The world is what it is and we are just trying to find our way in it.

Honestly both, and neither, depending on the framework you're using. But if we're talking in blunt terms, most people are neither saints nor monsters. We're just mediocre by design.

That said, if I had to pick a side, I'd say most people lean toward functional goodness. Not because they're virtuous, but because prosocial behavior is evolutionarily advantageous. Cooperation kept early humans alive. You didn't get very far as a selfish loner in a tribe based survival model. So yes, most people are "good" in the sense that they conform to the norms of their environment and avoid actions that would get them exiled, jailed, or rejected.

But if given power, anonymity, or desperation, that layer of decency can crack fast.

Setting aside the nuances and such: On average, BAD. Just look at the world. A funny thing is, people who think they are good are usually (in my opinion) blind to their badness and are actually mostly bad. People who think they are bad, are often more honest and good. I tend to favor people who feel they are bad over the ones who feel they are good.

I'd say it depends. Good and bad are based on social norms of a given society. Social norms change by societies and time. If somebody breaks those norms then they are 'bad'. Because most people conform to social norms then I suppose most people are 'good'.

Yeah there's no answer to this. It's a scale, and no-one agrees on the parameters. You could even name a whole bunch of famous people everyone knows and get no consensus about whether each individually is good or bad much less an aggregate.

What I will suggest though is that most people who see most others as good, tend to have better better people around them than most people who see others as bad, and its not at all obvious to me if that viewpoint brings the good people or the good people bring the viewpoint.
