I used to be broke. I'd go food shopping with a calculator to see if I could afford things. Couldn't afford bread.

Yeah, I'm pretty down on my luck. I live alone and don't make much money so I'm being ravaged by bills and rent. Food is a second thought.

Video games, board games, drawing, ah, minis. You?

I like video games, but these days I spend my time mostly doing artsy stuff. I'd love to draw but my hands are pretty messed up, instead I do things like writing, poetry, and even philosophy. I hope to one day write my own book before all of this is over.

What kind of philosophy? That's something I'm interested in, although it does mess me up a bit. It's possible for me to go too deep down the rabbit hole

I'm mostly into Existentialism and other thoughts of that nature. I'm actually working on my own philosophy. I have a pretty firm understanding of it, just no name yet.

You should definitely dabble into philosophy yourself. It's helped me understand and realize a lot of things.

I used to play Destiny with my friends so much. My favorite games gotta be more on the hardcore end of things though, like Dark Souls and such.

What about music, any genres you like?

Alternative? Awesome! I'm head over heels for alternative rock / post-hardcore, and sounds of that nature. Circa Survive is one of my favorite bands.

Instrumental is also great. Not everything needs lyrics to sound beautiful.

Every album has a pretty different sound, but my favorite is probably Juturna. My favorite song from Juturna is We're All Thieves.

The Juturna album was made during a time the lead singer was overcoming cocaine addiction, and you can kinda hear that in the lyrics of every song.

What a beautiful song. Music and all other forms of art really are a gateway to our souls. That's part of the reason I like it so much. It's the only way to truly express ourselves.
