I will go with a other method but does anyone plan to jump from a bridge?
Do you know this feeling if you think about a certain thing and just like the idea and thinking about how nice this is? Today I thought about jumping from a high bridge in some sea on a cloudy day, but there aren't high bridges in my region.
I just like the thought about jumping from a high bridge like the golden gate bridge or from the top of the tower bridge.

Me. I'm going that way from a bridge in my country that already had a lot of successful suicides.

219 ft and no safety nets. Almost certain death.

I got a bridge that's 4 times higher of the water than the golden gate. Been debating between that and SN. But I don't want to be on the local news.

I've thought about it. Even walked over it to see how high the barriers were and if there were any safety nets and as yet, it would be 'easy' to do. Trouble is- people have survived this particular one- that puts me off and I guess really- I'd prefer to die in private.

Also don't like it that some falls haven't resulted in instant death- instead- broken bones and drowning. That doesn't appeal either!

I live in a city so somebody found dead in a hotel room due to poisoning more than likely won't make the local news. Hotels don't want bad rep. Vs the bridge view would be shut down, find the body operations, you name it so that's more likely to be a lead off news story.

I just could not jump. Heights have always been difficult for me. Jumping off of a structure like that would be harder then holding both arms behind my back and falling straight onto my face without stopping myself. I think it would be impossible for me.

How high does it take to die on impact

I've never considered the method until now. With SN becoming hard to get, my inability to get it now , and the desperation to still end it makes me consider

Well if you have the money you could travel to a major city like Sam Francisco or New York. Spend some time there and see what you make out of it. Not to mention that the bridges in these areas are super tall. Treat yourself before it ends.

40m should be enough, it depends on whether there is water on the ground or asphalt. It depends that if you jump into the water from a high bridge, you will either die instantly or first knock out and drown.
I do it with train, its instant death.
I wanted sn too, but can't get it here.
I got a train method with instant death, if you consider some other methods. You can see my posts on my profile about it, I talked about the train method there and how deadly it is.

Im european and just moved in my own apartment, I don't have this money haha. Here are many high bridges too, but I got a good method ready. Thanks.

I think every method was survived by one or another. But bridges haven't a high death-rate thats true. I think I would consider it if I would live in the usa lol. But how I said, I got my method ready.

I would prefer jumping as a method to SN even if it were available, mostly because of how quickly jumping kills you. If you jump from a height of 100 meters, you will fall for less than 5 seconds and hit the ground at 159 kph (99 mph), and lose consciousness on impact. If you can get over the initial SI before jumping, this method isn't difficult. I would recommend scouting out you spot first, so that when you actually jump, you know exactly what you're doing and can be drunk or high without risking failure.

As for the height of the jump, I would recommend no less than 30 meters onto a solid surface. 90% of people who fall from 7 stories high (25 meters) die. However, and I cannot stress this enough, if you have access to a location higher than this you should absolutey jump from that location. I would even recommend travelling internationally if you can afford to, as it will permit you to jump from as high as 200 meters, depending on where you live and on your financial situation of course. There is really no reason not to spend a bit of money on going abraod to ctb if it decreases your chance of survival and the time it will take for you to die. I would also recommend jumping at a secluded location, like a cliff. The advantage of doing this is that your body will have more time to decompose while the authorities in your are investigating your disappearance. This will make it more difficult to identify your body when it is eventually found. This will be important to you if you want to your death to be recorded as an accident or to hide your suicide from your relatives. The odds are against you in this regard, but there is still a chance. In my country, there are bodies that have gone unidentified for 10 years, so there a still a shot.

This is really all you need to know about this method. I wish you the best of luck if you choose to ctb this way.

Very informative thank you. Out of the Last things anyone should see , a beautiful sight should be one of them. This checks that for sure

If I could I'd like to jump from the Golden Gate Bridge, but I hear that they put so many security measures there now that it sounds difficult to do, I've never been there in person so I'm not sure to what extent it is currently. If this wasnt the case, I would have just gone with that.

If you live in the US, there are plenty of options besides the Golden Gate, but you would likely have to travel out of state. I would recommend against the Golden Gate for the very reasons you gave, namely that since it's a hotspot, there is likely suicide barrieres and there is a possibility that someone will try to convince you not to jump. Here is a Wiki page listing bridges in the U.S by height for your reference. However, if you scout out the Golden Gate so that you know what you're doing, and don't hang around when you come back to jump, there is almost no chance of failure.

I don't live in the US, but one of the only things that I enjoy sometimes in this world is to travel so I wouldn't mind traveling to get to a bridge or building that high. Ideally, I'd love to bring my SN with me abroad and CTB in my favourite location, but don't really want to risk bringing that through a million airport security checkpoints.

This would be the ideal method for me, but unfortunately I can't afford to travel internationally without asking relatives for money. There are good spots in my own country to jump though, so I should be alright.
