That depends on your definition. How would you separate the two things (genuine question )
Definition of ?That depends on your definition.
I am extremely suicidal due to mental health problems, but I am in no way depressed. I do not suffer from low moods that often.
Depression always makes me second guess myself. Imposter syndrome is a huge part of depression though.I alternate between thinking I'm not depressed at all but want to ctb, and other days tink I am depressed.
Maybe I'm not in the best shape mentally to know the difference.
Just wanna throw it out there that depression can also make you emotionally numb and apathetic, not everyone experiences sadness and melancholy. That depends on your definition.

Relatable. I've felt like this since I was about 14? Sigh...I'm pretty sure I've been depressed nonstop since childhood, although was never officially diagnosed. Not that I need to be, it's pretty obvious. I've had some periods of time where I felt ok, but still knew my eventual suicide was inevitable. It's a strange feeling. Like I always knew and accepted it was my destiny.
I've definitely suffered imposter syndrome for years but not realised it.Depression always makes me second guess myself. Imposter syndrome is a huge part of depression though.

Same.I've definitely suffered imposter syndrome for years but not realised it.
No, nada, zip on depression. Pain and poor health who's progression is predictable. Want to avoid hospitals or care facilities and die painlessly at home listening to my favorite music. Just a calculated decision.I am not depressed in the slightest, but I am still planning my death.
