are you guys all living in your own apartments/houses or are you renting?

i was just wondering. is inert gas only a good method if you have your own ap/house? because i don't really know how it works.. i never rented anything, wouldn't a landlord notice all that weird stuff. like do they come to check their apartment/house sometimes? thanks, just wondering

Inert would be my method of choice, but it takes a while to prepare

I'm an owner--but a nitrogen tank is easy to hide, even a big 69 lb one like mine--Why would a landlord notice anything, does he have CCTV cameras watching all deliveries? You can easily hide a nitrogen tank in a closet

Why would a landlord care anyway? Nitrogen is an inert gas, meaning it can't explode(unlike an Oxygen tank)from excessive heat--However, if the temp exceeds 125 degrees, the Nitrogen tank can start spitting out its contents

So, the only problem would be if you left a nitrogen tank in your closed up car in the summer, in Florida or Arizona lol
i'm just imagining them seeing the whole set up and thinking "what the fuck" lol but like idk how it works for people that rent. if the landlord comes sometimes to check their apartment

I rented in a place once that didn't allow pets, but I still had a cat for years, landlord never found out

A landlord can't enter your apartment unless there's an emergency--But Even if he wants to check something out, he's not going to look in your closet lol

And I believe they can't show up without advance notice, except emergency.

I've stored it in the past (40 cf) and I live with family, we have doorbell cams and stuff and they don't open my packages so that helps if your situation is similar. It's small enough to where it can be kept in certain closable dressers or shelves if it's cleared out.

Make sure you have a story in the small chance that they find it and start inquiring, if you have a car you can claim it's handy for filling up your tires.

I've thought about it as I like the idea of going in my own bed but nah when I was going to CTB with inert gas I was going to do it in my car in some random parking lot. I've since switched to SN since it seems more straightforward since I kept running into issues.

I describe most of them in detail in this thread: https://sanctioned-suicide.net/threads/failed-attempt-to-ctb-with-inert-gas.183264/

Also I think the guy you were talking about a few replies back was GasMonkey, he optimized the hell out of his set-up.
