he's an idiot in my opinion he talks a load of nonsense can't stand listening to alan watts terence mckenna is far better only he believed you could exist outside of matter which i strongly doubt

Alan Watts: The Way of Zen
I highly recommend this book if you want to wake up from this illusion called life.
(I find the music in those talks by Watts to be very annoying and distracting.)

Hard disagree. He distilled ancient knowledge and brought it to a Western audience, he did so with charm and laughs. Great spiritual entertainer. You probably listened to out of context excepts, I doubt you read his work. McKenna is okay but he was just too obsessed with DMT. Watts talked about drugs as a cheat to access enlightenment, drugs are not total enlightenment like McKenna seems to think. You're entitled to your opinion, nonetheless.Similar threads
