I don't do any myself however, I'm a born Texan, so growing up I learned a lot about Mexican culture. One of my favorite parts is Dia De Lost Muertos and the concept of ofrendas. Ofrenda-making is such a sweet tradition and I love the idea of it.

I have been called many things for saying this, but I honestly respect the dead more than the living. For me its since the being is unable to protect itself after it is gone, that is one of the reasons I am trying avoid most meat nowadays. I just find it not only more gross, but animals such as pigs are as smart as dogs.
But for rituals I 100% respect whatever the being wanted since they have lived out the being part. Weather they ended their being early is up to them. So I would just think what the departed would want to be done with their remains. I would, if in doubt just bury them with the body intact, since their form is kept for longer, and they live on in a way without the need for suffering.Similar threads
