Help Anyone from the UK got SN from IC recently?

Seen some good things but I'm cautious about messing up the process. I have brain damage + limited funds and this sort of stuff is very difficult for me to understand.
Is it still a valid source?
Do you actually need to send ID?
Is the pricing in USD or other type of $?
Does it get import tax?
Any other advice for buying for someone who normally can't fill out paper work or banking stuff without a support worker?
